What is Humans vs. Zombies

Humans vs. Zombies (HvZ) is a week long, 24/7 game of moderated tag commonly played on college campuses. A group of human players attempts to survive a “zombie outbreak” by outsmarting a growing group of zombie players.

Human players must remain vigilant and defend themselves with socks and Nerf guns to avoid being tagged by the growing zombie horde. Currently, Humans vs. Zombies is played at over 600 campuses across the United States!

Hey HvZ friends! The main game is now over, but our work is not yet done! We want to ask that people keep an eye out for darts, socks, etc. and pick these things up as you walk around campus. They're nice enough to allow us to play here, so we'd like to ensure that we don't leave them with the gift of socks flung from lawnmowers. Specifically, if some people could head to Hawlewood Courtyard today (the spot for the summoning) and pick it up, it would be very appreciated. From what I've heard, it's still smothered in socks and darts. Good news everyone! Free socks and darts!
