What is Humans vs. Zombies

Humans vs. Zombies (HvZ) is a week long, 24/7 game of moderated tag commonly played on college campuses. A group of human players attempts to survive a “zombie outbreak” by outsmarting a growing group of zombie players.

Human players must remain vigilant and defend themselves with socks and Nerf guns to avoid being tagged by the growing zombie horde. Currently, Humans vs. Zombies is played at over 600 campuses across the United States!

Hey everyone, Willis here with off topic HvZ related news. So we have a lot of weird, random rules that aren't immediately clear. One of the most common sense rules we have is that all blasters must look like toys. Meaning don't paint them all black. This right here is precisely why. We live in a world of heightened security. We maintain excellent relations with MUPD but even with that all it could take is one player not abiding by the rules to get our game shut down or worse: an injured player. So in the future, please err on the side of caution when it comes to modifying the paint jobs on your weapons. -Willis- Edit: enjoy the Doppler radar thumbnail. It's completely unrelated to the article.
